Troubleshooting

Start with the page that matches what you see.

• Engines: an engine isn't found, asks you to sign in, or a model fails.
• Connected apps: an app won't connect, or a bot can't use it.
• Startup and ports: Murage won't open or never gets ready.
• Updates: an update won't download or finish.
• Channels: Telegram, Slack or Discord won't pair or reply.
• Voice and calls: a call won't start or can't hear you, or a bot won't speak.
• Memory: a bot forgets, or remembers the wrong thing.
• Skills and Skill Guard: a skill won't import, switch on, or gets flagged.
• Routines not running: a routine didn't run, ran late or was missed.
• Computer use and the browser: a bot can't use your screen, its browser or a computer.
• Backups: backups won't run or restore.
• Performance: slow replies and long chats.
• Collecting a bug report: export diagnostics and report a bug on GitHub.

Before you ask for help#

Note down:

• your Murage version (in Settings → General) and your operating system;
• a diagnostics file from Settings → General → Export Diagnostics… (read it first);
• the bot's engine and model;
• the exact error message;
• whether the same engine works on its own in a terminal.

Never share API keys, passwords, sign-in links or the contents of Murage's data folder.
