Flux voices
All 41 voices in the Flux list, with the name, sound and accent Murage shows for each.
With Flux Router connected, the Flux voice engine offers 41 named voices: 13 from OpenAI and 28 from xAI, all through your one Flux key. Murage gives each voice a person's name and a short description of how it sounds, from repeated listens. Pick a different voice for each bot and a channel call sounds like a team.
Every voice speaks every language.
Pick one
- Open the bot's settings and go to Voice & alerts.
- Under Voice engine, choose Flux.
- Open the Voice menu. Voices are grouped as Female, Male and Neutral, each in alphabetical order, and shown as "Name: Description", for example "Kira: Upbeat, confident, American".
- Choose Try to hear a sample, then keep the one you like.
Speaking through Flux is billed per character to your Flux account.
Which voices you'll see
- Flux Router connected: all 41.
- Only your own OpenAI key: the engine button reads OpenAI and shows the 13 OpenAI voices below, with the same names.
- Your own xAI key: the xAI engine shows the 28 xAI voices, billed by xAI.
Genders are how each voice commonly sounds. OpenAI doesn't publish genders for its voices; xAI's are xAI's own.
If a bot has no voice picked, Flux speaks with Nora. A bot on the xAI engine with no voice picked speaks with Harriet.

Troubleshooting
- The list shows 13 voices, not 41. You're speaking through your own OpenAI key without Flux. Connect Flux Router in Settings → Models for the full list.
- "Add a Flux key, or an OpenAI key, in Settings to use these voices." No hosted voice is set up yet.
- "Flux voices need a paid plan. The key is fine; the plan does not cover it yet." Your Flux plan doesn't include voice.
- An xAI voice from the list won't speak. If Flux can't serve xAI's voices for your account, Murage uses your own xAI key if you have one, and otherwise falls back to the OpenAI voices.
