Murage with Zapier

Keep your Zaps. Your Murage bots run them as tools, and a Zap can start a Murage task. Murage adds a Chief of Staff and a team that decides when to run them, on your computer, for free.

The short answer

Zapier connects everything. Murage gives it a team that knows when to pull the lever.

You talk to one Chief of Staff. It builds the team, and each bot runs the engine that suits its job, on the plan or key you already have. An engine is the AI that does a bot’s thinking. To run teams and use tools, pick a tool-capable one: Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, or the built-in Fuigo engine with a supported model. A plain OpenAI-compatible endpoint works for chat and drafting only. Portraits made with Murage’s own avatar generator. See every engine

Keep your workflows. Your bots run them.

Your Zaps become tools your team can use.

Your bots run your Zaps as tools through Zapier’s MCP server (MCP servers are plug-ins that give bots new tools), and a Zap can start a Murage task through a local webhook (cloud senders need a tunnel). Zapier keeps doing what it does best: connecting thousands of apps with steps that run the same way every time. Your Chief of Staff decides when a job needs one.

What Murage adds on top

  • A Chief of Staff that takes the brief and decides which bot, engine or workflow each step needs
  • Bots that research, write and build in your folders, then hand the fixed steps to your workflows
  • 1,500+ apps through Flux Router credits or your own connected-apps key, next to the ones your workflows already reach
  • Memory, files and chats stored on your computer

What a year costs.

The Murage app is

Free

Your Zapier Professional plan costs $359.88 a year either way. Murage adds nothing to that bill, and gives you a Chief of Staff and a team.

Zapier also has a free plan with 100 tasks a month, and Professional is $19.99 a month billed annually. Zaps your bots run still use Zapier tasks, the same as any Zap. Prices from official pricing pages, billed monthly, checked September 25, 2026.

You brief one Chief of Staff. It builds a team of specialists for the job, and the team keeps its memory for next time. You can put a reviewer on any team to check work before it reaches you. Portraits made with Murage’s own avatar generator.

What Murage adds for a Zapier user.

The brief

“Go through my inbox before I get in. Draft replies in my voice. Send nothing.”

What came back

Twelve emails came in. The team drafted eight replies, set four aside, and left two questions only the owner could answer. Nothing was sent.

Keep your Zaps. Add a team on top

You don’t have to choose. Switch on Zapier’s MCP server in Murage and your bots run your Zaps as tools, or let a Zap start a Murage task with a webhook.

Brief once; the team stays

Brief your Chief of Staff in plain English, and it builds a team of named bots, each with a role, memory and the apps it needs. Keep Zaps for the steps that must never change.

Free on top of your AI plan

The Murage app is free. Your AI provider bills you as usual, and Zaps your bots run still use Zapier tasks, the same as any Zap.

Bots that do the work itself

Each bot runs Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, a local model or an API key, so it can research, write and build in your folders, then hand fixed steps to a Zap.

Asks first, by default

New bots start on Ask. On Full access, a bot stops before messaging anyone new, posting publicly, paying, or deleting outside its folder, unless you have allowed it for that task. On Hermes and other ACP engines, Ask and the stop line cover only what the engine asks Murage about: shell commands and file edits.

Where Zapier is ahead.

Fair’s fair. If one of these matters most to you, it may be the better choice today.

  1. 1

    Always on, with triggers

Zaps fire on app events around the clock in Zapier’s cloud. Murage runs while your computer is on, until Murage Cloud opens.

  2. 2

    Apps only Zapier reaches

Zapier connects 9,000+ apps with nothing to set up on your computer. Your bots can reach them through your Zaps.

Which should you choose?

Zapier connects everything. Murage gives it a team that knows when to pull the lever.

Choose Murage if

  • You want a standing team that decides when to run a Zap, rather than building each agent yourself
  • You want memory and files on your own computer
  • You want bots that research, write and build, and call your Zaps when a job needs one
  • You want everyone on your staff to have it, with no Murage seat fees
Download Murage

Choose Zapier if

  • You need app triggers firing around the clock in Zapier’s cloud, today
  • You need an app only Zapier reaches (9,000+) and want it without any setup on your computer
  • You need a fixed process to run the same way every time (you can keep it: Murage bots can run your Zaps through MCP)

Still deciding? Read how we check that a job is finished, then try one of your own.

Questions about Murage and Zapier.

Does Murage work with Zapier?+

Yes, today, in both directions. Add Zapier’s MCP server in Murage and switch it on, and every bot whose engine can use MCP tools can run your Zaps. And a Zap can start a Murage bot’s task by calling a Murage webhook. The webhook listens on your own computer, so the Zap needs a tunnel to reach it.

Can Murage replace my Zaps?+

For work that needs judgment, like research, drafting and follow-up, a Murage team is often simpler to set up. For fixed, high-volume automations that must fire around the clock, keep Zapier. You can use both, and they already work together.

Does Murage connect to the same apps?+

Murage connects 1,500+ apps, including Gmail, Slack, Notion and GitHub, through Flux Router credits or your own connected-apps key, plus MCP servers. Zapier covers more, and your bots can reach those through your Zaps.

Can my staff use it too?+

Yes. Each person runs Murage on their own computer, with their own AI sign-in. Build a team once, export it, and everyone imports the same bots, skills and routines; logins never travel. Bots can post drafts to your team’s Slack channels through connected apps, with your approval. Shared always-on workspaces will come with Murage Cloud, which isn’t open yet.

Is Murage made by Zapier?+

No. Murage is an independent open-source project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zapier.
