Run bots on Cursor's command-line agent, billed to your own Cursor subscription.
Cursor's command-line agent runs the same AI that powers the Cursor editor, outside the editor. Murage runs it as an engine, billed to your own Cursor subscription. It's listed as Cursor.

When to use it
- You already pay for Cursor and want your bots to use it.
- You want Cursor's model choices, such as its Auto model, with Murage's tools.
Install and sign in
- Open Settings → Engines and find Cursor.
- If it says Not detected, choose Open install in Terminal. Murage opens Terminal with the right command for your computer.
On macOS and Linux:

- If the status says Detected · sign-in required, choose Open sign-in in Terminal. The command is:
cursor-agent login
You can also sign in with a CURSOR_API_KEY environment variable instead.
- Back in Murage, choose Check again.
Murage looks for the program named cursor-agent, because other coding tools can install a program called agent too.
What works
- Tools: Murage's tools, including handing work to other bots, memory search, your own MCP servers, connected apps, the built-in browser, and cloud and local computers. Control of this computer is offered when Cursor asks before each action.
- Pictures you attach go straight to the model, if the model accepts images.
- Model picking: Cursor's own models, including Auto.
- Engine commands: type
/to see Cursor's own commands next to Murage's, once a chat has started.
Known limits
- No local models. Cursor only uses its own service, so Murage doesn't offer local servers for it.
- No Flux Router. The Flux Router tiers aren't offered for Cursor.
- Your Cursor plan's limits apply.
- Voice calls need Flux Router credits or your own voice keys.
Troubleshooting
"Cursor CLI is not signed in" Run cursor-agent login in a terminal, or set CURSOR_API_KEY, then choose Check again.
"cursor-agent CLI not found" Install it, restart Murage, or choose Set CLI… and pick the program yourself.
A model fails Pick a model your Cursor plan includes, then try the same model with cursor-agent in a terminal. If it fails there too, it's an account problem rather than a Murage one.
