iPhone and Android app (coming)
The Murage app for iPhone and Android is coming. It will open the workspace on your computer over your own Tailscale network. Today, use the phone web app or message your Chief in Telegram, Slack or Discord.
The app will open the same Murage workspace your computer runs: your conversations with your Chief of Staff and teams, files and photos, and the approval and question cards that need you. Your computer will still do all the work.
What it will need
- Murage running on your computer, with Phone and other devices in Settings.
- Your computer on and awake. Closing a laptop's lid puts it to sleep, and the phone can't reach it then.
- Tailscale on your computer and your phone, signed in to the same account. The app will connect only over your own Tailscale network. Murage is never opened to the public internet.
- An iPhone with iOS 17 or later, or an Android phone with Android 10 or later.
How pairing will work
- On your computer, open Settings → Phone and other devices and switch it on.
- Open the Murage app on your phone and choose to scan. Scan the QR code on your computer, or type the 6-digit code.
- The code will last 10 minutes. If it runs out, make a new one on your computer.
You'll be able to save more than one computer in the app and switch between them, and press and hold the app icon for a Switch computer shortcut.
Signing a phone out
Sign out from the app and that phone's access will end. Up to 20 devices will be able to pair with one computer.
Not in the first release
- Notifications, and approving from the lock screen, are planned.
- Murage Cloud isn't open yet, so the app will connect to Murage on your own computer only.
