Murage does not run OpenAI Dots. It takes the same idea a layer up
Dots live in ChatGPT. Murage lives on your computer and lets you pick the AI.
Dots and Murage share an idea: agents that keep working on a goal and come back when they need you. Dots are tied to a ChatGPT plan and to OpenAI’s cloud. Murage is a Chief of Staff, Ember, who builds a team of specialist bots for the job and runs them on your computer, on whichever engine each bot needs, including Codex on the ChatGPT plan you already pay for.
What Murage adds on top
- A Chief of Staff, Ember, who builds the team for each job
- The engine you choose for each bot: Fuigo (built in), Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, Grok Build, OpenCode, local models or your own API keys
- Bring the AI plan you already pay for, ChatGPT through Codex included
- 1,500+ apps, plus any public API or MCP: a bot works out the connection itself
- Projects that split a job into cards on a board, so it keeps its plan, files and next steps in one place
- Lessons from your corrections that you can see, edit and undo
- Murage for Chrome (coming) will work in your own signed-in Chrome, in the tabs you share. Today, “Use my Chrome” lets one bot work in your own Chrome on Mac and Linux, inside the experimental built-in browser
- iPhone and Android app coming (approvals, questions and calls with your team). Today: the web app on your phone, and your Chief in Telegram, Slack, Discord or WhatsApp
- It works in any country, because it runs on your computer
