Inbox and menu-bar approvals
One place for everything waiting on you, and quick approvals from the menu bar or system tray.
Your bots work in the background, so Murage collects everything that needs you in one place: the Inbox. On Mac, Windows, and Linux desktops that show tray icons, you can also answer ordinary requests from the menu bar or system tray.
Needs you
The Needs you row at the top of the sidebar shows how many things are waiting on you. Choose it to open the Inbox.
Inbox views
- Needs you: everything waiting on your answer.
- Approvals: requests to do something, like send an email or run a command.
- Decisions: questions only you can answer.
- Connections: apps and engines that need you to sign in again.
- Routines: routine runs and their problems.
- Results: everything your bots produced in the background.
- All: everything.
Choose Open request to jump to the conversation, or answer an approval right there. Stop-line requests in the Inbox also offer Allow for this task. See Permissions and the stop line.
Keep it tidy
- Mark read and Mark unread work like email.
- Choose Clear all to clear the items that need nothing from you, such as old failures and reports. A cleared item only comes back if it happens again.
- If an engine you don't use keeps asking you to sign in, choose I don't use that engine to turn it off. I don't use, Turn it off and Dismiss all take effect straight away.
Snooze a conversation
Want a conversation quiet for a while? Right-click a bot or channel in the sidebar and choose Snooze…, or press the clock next to a conversation in a conversation list. Pick 1 hour, Tomorrow morning, Next week or Pick a time (up to 30 days ahead).
A snoozed conversation stays where it is, marked with a bell. When the time comes it comes back marked unread. Anything owed to you, such as an approval or a question, wakes it straight away, and a conversation waiting on your answer can't be snoozed until you answer. To wake it early, open Snooze… again and choose Unsnooze.
A conversation with a question waiting for you shows a badge with the count, such as "1 question for you".
Menu bar and system tray
On Mac (menu bar) and Windows (system tray), the Murage icon shows a count of what needs you. Open it to:
- Allow once or Deny an ordinary request, or Open it in Murage.
- See all in Inbox.
- See what your bots are working on now.
- Start a New message to… any bot.
- Open Murage, Check for updates or Quit Murage.
Requests that need a closer look, such as stop-line requests, open in the app.
Away from your computer
Approve from Telegram, or open Murage in your phone's browser from Settings → Phone.
