Droid
Run bots on Factory's Droid command-line agent with your own Factory account.
Droid is Factory's command-line coding agent. Murage runs it as an engine with your own Factory account. It's listed as Droid.
Droid and Factory are trademarks of their owner. Murage isn't affiliated with Factory.
When to use it
- You already use Droid and want your bots on it.
- You want Droid's models with Murage's tools.
- You want to run a local model with a full set of tools.
Install and sign in
- Open Settings → Engines and find Droid.
- If it says Not detected, choose Open install in Terminal. Murage opens Terminal with the right command for your computer.
On macOS and Linux:

- If the status says Detected · sign-in required, choose Open sign-in in Terminal. This runs
droidonce so you can log in. You can also set aFACTORY_API_KEYenvironment variable instead. - Back in Murage, choose Check again.
What works
- Tools: Murage's tools, including handing work to other bots, memory search, your own MCP servers, connected apps, the built-in browser, and cloud and local computers. Control of this computer is offered when Droid asks before each action.
- Pictures you attach go straight to the model, if the model accepts images.
- Model picking: Droid's own models, plus local models from Settings → Models → Local models. A local model shows up with its server's name, for example "qwen3 (Ollama)".
- Engine commands: type
/to see Droid's own commands next to Murage's, once a chat has started.
Known limits
- No Flux Router. Droid only talks to Factory's own service for hosted models, so the Flux Router tiers aren't offered for it.
- Your Factory plan's limits apply.
- Voice calls need Flux Router credits or your own voice keys.
Troubleshooting
"Droid CLI is not signed in" Run droid once in a terminal and log in, or set FACTORY_API_KEY, then choose Check again.
"droid CLI not found" Install Droid, restart Murage, or choose Set CLI… and pick the droid program yourself.
A model fails Pick a model your Factory plan includes, and try it in Droid on its own in a terminal.
