Channels

You can reach your Chief of Staff from Telegram, Slack or Discord. Set them up in Settings → Messaging apps. Murage must be running on your computer to receive messages.

All three connect to your Chief of Staff only, through one private chat or direct message that you pair. Your Chief can reply there, including with voice notes. You use your own Telegram bot, Slack app or Discord bot.

After pairing, link the chat account to yourself so your Chief knows it's you: open Team map → Manage memory → People and verified accounts, find the account and choose This is my account. Until then your Chief won't answer there.

Telegram#

Message your Chief from one private Telegram chat, and approve requests with a tap.

1. Create a bot with BotFather (/newbot) and copy its token.
2. Paste it into Bot token and choose Save token.
3. Choose Pair with Chief and send the /pair command it shows to your bot.

Approval requests arrive with buttons: Approve once or Deny, plus Allow for this task on stop-line requests. Each expires after 10 minutes. Other reviews stay in Murage.

Your pairing reconnects by itself after Murage restarts. You can type or send a voice message. Send a voice message and your Chief replies with one.

Slack#

Message your Chief from one approved Slack direct message, using your own private Slack app.

1. Save your Slack app's credentials and workspace details in the Slack card.
2. Choose Pair with Chief and follow the pairing step.

Approvals stay in Murage. You can talk to your Chief from Slack, but answer its approval requests in the app, the Inbox or Telegram.

Discord#

Message your Chief from one approved Discord direct message, using your own Discord bot application.

1. Save your bot's credentials and application details in the Discord card.
2. Choose Pair with Chief and follow the pairing step.

Approvals stay in Murage, as with Slack. Messages sent while Murage is stopped may not be picked up later, and long replies show as a preview with the full result in Murage.

Skip approvals for your own messages (optional)#

If a bot's default is Full access or No limits, Bot settings → Permissions has a switch: Also skip approvals for my messages from Telegram, Slack and Discord. Messages from anyone else, webhooks and routines still ask.

Channels are not connected apps

Slack and Discord also exist as connected apps, which let bots read and post in your workspace as a tool. That's separate from messaging your Chief.

WhatsApp is not available.
