Kimi
Run bots on Moonshot AI's Kimi Code command-line agent with your own Kimi sign-in.
Kimi Code is Moonshot AI's command-line coding agent. Murage runs it as an engine with your own Kimi sign-in. It's listed as Kimi.
Kimi is a trademark of its owner. Murage isn't affiliated with Moonshot AI.
When to use it
- You already use Kimi and want your bots on it.
- You want Kimi's models with Murage's tools.
- You want to run a local model with a full set of tools.
Install and sign in
Kimi's official installer doesn't need Node.js.
- Open Settings → Engines and find Kimi.
- If it says Not detected, choose Open install in Terminal. Murage opens Terminal with the right command for your computer.
On macOS and Linux:
curl -fsSL https://code.kimi.com/kimi-code/install.sh | bash
On Windows (PowerShell):
irm https://code.kimi.com/kimi-code/install.ps1 | iex
- If the status says Detected · sign-in required, choose Open sign-in in Terminal. The command is:
kimi login
- Back in Murage, choose Check again.
What works
- Tools: Murage's tools, including handing work to other bots, memory search, your own MCP servers, connected apps, the built-in browser, and cloud and local computers. Control of this computer is offered when Kimi asks before each action.
- Pictures you attach go straight to the model, if the model accepts images.
- Model picking: the models from Kimi's own catalog, plus local models from Settings → Models → Local models.
- Engine commands: type
/to see Kimi's own commands next to Murage's, once a chat has started.
When you pick a local model for a Kimi bot, Murage adds a short entry for it to Kimi's own configuration so Kimi can reach the server.
Known limits
- No Flux Router. The Flux Router tiers aren't offered for Kimi.
- Your Kimi account's limits apply.
- Voice calls need Flux Router credits or your own voice keys.
Troubleshooting
"Kimi Code CLI is not signed in" Run kimi login in a terminal, then choose Check again.
"kimi CLI not found" Install Kimi, restart Murage, or choose Set CLI… and pick the kimi program yourself.
A local model doesn't appear Test it in Settings → Models → Local models first. Only a model that answers is offered.
