AI for insurance agencies

Renewal reminders and quote follow-ups, drafted every week.

Every renewal on the list gets a drafted reminder, not just the urgent ones. Murage gives you a Chief of Staff and a team that drafts renewal reminders, quote follow-ups and plain-English policy summaries. New bots start on Ask, so every message waits for a licensed agent’s yes until you give a bot more room. Coverage advice and binding stay with you.

Teams

Recover Unanswered Sales EmailsReview approved mailbox and CRM data, filter out closed or opted-out conversations, and draft relevant follow-ups without sending them.
Reply DeskSort the queue, prepare replies in your voice, and flag promising sales conversations for follow-up.
Customer Success OrgReviews your book for clients who need attention before renewal.
Sales PipelineInvestigate buyer needs, sales conversations, and offer fit to recommend the next changes.
Back-Office CrewTurn operational issues into a prioritized daily action list with financial context and clear follow-ups.
An insurance agency owner in a rust blazer smiles as she listens to a client on the phone at her desk, late-afternoon sun striping the office through half-open blinds.

Where the week goes.

  • Quotes that go quiet. You quoted it, they said they’d think about it, and nobody followed up.

  • Renewals sneak up. The renewal list lives in the management system. Nobody reads it until it’s urgent.

  • Hand this off first: renewal run

“Every Monday at 8, read the renewals export for the next 60 days. Draft a personal reminder for each client and list anyone whose premium changed by more than 10 percent.”

    • Works from your management system’s export. Each reminder waits for your approval.

Why this team fits the work.

  • Why it fits this work

Built from the exports you already pull.

The renewals list and book-of-business export from your management system are enough. There is no new system to connect, and a licensed agent approves every draft.

  • Runs the agents you already pay for.

Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and more, each bot on the engine that suits its job. Keep the one you use; Murage puts them on one team, and you can switch any bot’s engine later.

  • Free, on the plan you already have.

The Murage app is free. Your team runs on the AI plan you already pay for, and a busy team uses its allowance faster. Connected apps and voice use optional Flux Router credits or your own keys.

  • A team that splits the job and brings back each part.

Your Chief of Staff hands each part of the job to a specialist, can run it on a schedule, and gives you the draft.

  • You hold the stop line.

New bots start on Ask. On Full access, a bot stops before messaging anyone new, posting publicly, paying, or deleting outside its folder, unless you have allowed it for that task. Replies in an existing conversation go ahead on Auto and Full access. No limits turns the stop line off. On Hermes and other ACP engines, Ask and the stop line cover only what the engine asks Murage about: shell commands and file edits.

  • Follow-upsA drafted follow-up for every open quote.“Everyone we quoted in the last three weeks who hasn’t bound: draft a short follow-up that mentions what they were shopping for. Send nothing.”See the job in detail
  • Renewal watchRenewals reviewed 60 days out, with reminders drafted.“Every Monday at 8, read the renewals export for the next 60 days. Tell me which clients need a call, why, and draft a reminder for each. Send nothing.”See the job in detail
  • Inbox triageThe agency inbox, sorted by what it needs.“Go through the agency inbox before we open. Sort claims questions, quote requests and policy changes. Draft routine replies, and flag anything about coverage for a licensed agent. Send nothing.”See how it runs
  • Pipeline reviewOpen quotes reviewed every Friday.“Every Friday at 3, review our open quotes. Flag the stale ones, any without a next step, and any past the effective date. Tell me the two calls to make Monday. Change nothing.”See the job in detail

More jobs to hand off.

Each job starts with one sentence to your Chief of Staff, and ends with a draft or a question for you.

  • Quote follow-ups

Drafts only. Messaging a new person stops and asks, even on Full access.

“Everyone we quoted in the last three weeks who hasn’t bound: draft a short follow-up that mentions what they were shopping for. Don’t send.”

  • Plain-English policy summary

A licensed agent checks the summary before the client sees it.

“Summarize this homeowner policy for the client in plain English: what’s covered, the main exclusions and the deductibles. Quote the policy for each point and label it a summary, not advice.”

  • Cross-sell review

A list and drafts. Recommending cover stays with a licensed agent.

“From this book-of-business export, list clients with auto but no home or umbrella coverage. Draft a short, personal note for each for me to review.”

Questions about AI for insurance agencies.

How can AI help an insurance agency?+

It drafts the admin around your book: renewal reminders, quote follow-ups, policy summaries and client replies. Licensed agents review every draft and keep the advice.

Can AI give insurance advice to clients?+

Murage doesn’t. It summarizes and drafts for a licensed agent to review, and coverage recommendations and binding stay with your team.

Does it connect to my agency management system?+

Only if it’s in the connected-apps catalog, which needs Flux Router credits or your own connected-apps key. Exports work either way.

Will it send emails or post on its own?+

Not to anyone new. New bots start on Ask. On Full access, a bot stops before messaging anyone new, posting publicly, paying, or deleting outside its folder, unless you have allowed it for that task. On Hermes and other ACP engines, Ask and the stop line cover only what the engine asks Murage about: shell commands and file edits. Replies in an existing conversation go ahead on Auto and Full access.

Where does my client data go?+

Files, memory and conversations are stored on your computer, not on our servers. The AI engine you choose reads what you send it, under its own terms, and any app you connect gets what a job needs. For sensitive material, a bot can run on a local model: model processing stays on your hardware, while web search, connected apps and hosted voice still use outside services.
