Can AI agents search the web for free?

Yes. Murage bots can use a free search through Parallel, with DuckDuckGo as a fallback, and no API key.

Where do my search queries go?

To Parallel and, if it fails, DuckDuckGo. If you choose Flux Router, Tavily, Exa or Firecrawl, they go there instead.

Can I turn web search off?

Yes. Choose Off in Web search settings to stop Murage’s own search. An engine’s built-in search is separate.
