Delete your phone app data

Your messages, transcripts and files are stored on your own computer, in Murage. Murage does not keep them on its servers. To delete them, see deleting your data in our privacy policy.

The notification relay, hosted by Cloudflare, holds only what it needs to deliver alerts:

• a device ID
• your phone’s push token
• a device secret hash
• a device check key (App Attest on iPhone, Play Integrity on Android)

Alerts carry no message text. Event data is kept for at most 24 hours. The relay never stores your IP address. It uses a keyed, rotating hash of it only for rate limiting, and deletes that hash within about two hours. Its logs record errors only, with no IP address, token or request body.

A pairing you haven't used for 30 days is removed. While you use the app, your phone keeps its pairing current. If you have deleted the app, the pairing is removed after the same 30 days. Removing the computer in the app deletes the pairing straight away.

1. In the app, go to Settings and remove the computer. This deletes the pairing from the relay, at once or as soon as your phone is back online.
2. Delete the app. On Android, this removes what it keeps on the phone. On iPhone, iOS can keep two small items in the Keychain after an app is deleted: the list of saved computers, which the app clears the next time it is installed, and a random install ID with no personal details, which lets a new pairing replace this phone's old record.

If you set up secure access for your phone, that also created an account on accounts.murage.ai with your email address. To have it removed, contact us or email privacy@murage.ai. We handle requests to delete relay or phone-account data through the contact form or privacy@murage.ai within 30 days.

When you remove the last computer, the app deletes its push notification registration with Google. Google keeps a deleted registration for up to 180 days before removing it, according to Google. See Google’s privacy policy.
