An AI team that works in Jira for you.

Your bots search Jira, file clean tickets and keep sprints honest. New bots start on Ask, so they check with you before they act in Jira, except on Hermes and other ACP engines.

Download Murage

Free app. Jira connects through Flux Router credits or your own connected-apps key. You sign in to Jira yourself.

Murage · Jira

List every Jira bug opened this sprint with no assignee and suggest an owner for each.

What your bots can do in Jira.

  • Search issues and read comments and worklogs
  • Create an issue and add a comment
  • Assign or move an issue through its workflow
  • Read boards and sprints
  • Delete an issue (asks first)

“Asks first” means the bot checks with you before it does that, on Ask, the mode every new bot starts in. You can give a bot more freedom later. On Full access, a bot stops before messaging anyone new, posting publicly, paying, or deleting outside its folder, unless you have allowed it for that task. On Hermes and other ACP engines, Ask and the stop line cover only what the engine asks Murage about, and Hermes doesn’t ask before connected-app tools, so these actions don’t ask first there.

Try this on day one: unassigned bugs, with a suggested owner

“List every Jira bug opened this sprint with no assignee and suggest an owner for each.”

  • Every bug opened this sprint with no assignee
  • Who has worked on that area before
  • A suggested owner for each; assigning is your call

Jobs your team does with Jira.

  • Release notesTShip the feature and the announcement together.“Every Thursday, read this week’s merged pull requests. Draft the changelog entry, a customer-facing summary and a short email. Leave out internal work. Publish nothing.”See the job in detail
  • Weekly reportThe Friday update, written before you ask.“Every Friday at 3, draft the weekly update: what shipped, what moved, what is stuck, and what we need. Keep it under 300 words.”See the job in detail

Ready-made teams that use Jira.

  • Ship Software SafelyGet a scoped implementation plan, coordinated engineering work, and a release-readiness review backed by verification evidence.
  • Dev ShopTurn requests into technical plans, review quality and operational risks, and organize implementation handoffs and release priorities.

How to connect it.

  1. 1

    Download Murage

Free for Mac, Windows and Ubuntu. Pick the AI you already use; if it needs installing, Murage opens a one-line command for you.

  2. 2

    Connect Jira

Open connected apps and sign in to Jira once. It runs through Flux Router credits, or your own connected-apps key.

  3. 3

    Give a brief

Tell your Chief of Staff what to do with Jira. New bots start on Ask, so they check with you before they act, except on Hermes and other ACP engines.

Where Murage fits next to Rovo and Zapier.

  • What a team adds here

Your team reads the board, spots what is stuck or unowned, and drafts the next step for each.

  • Works across your apps

One brief can pull from Jira, your calendar, your CRM and the web. Rovo is built for Jira and Atlassian’s other apps.

  • Keeps notes on your business

Your bots keep notes on your customers, your tone and how you like things done, stored on your computer where you can open and edit them.

  • Runs on the AI you already pay for

Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, a model key or a local model. The Murage app is free; your AI provider bills you as usual.

Where they win: Rovo is right there inside Jira, with nothing to set up. Zapier runs in the cloud whether your computer is on or not, while Murage runs while your computer is on. Use Rovo or Zapier for quick one-offs and fixed recipes, and Murage for the work that needs judgment.

Already have Zaps? Your bots can run them. Add the Zapier MCP server and your bots use your Zaps as tools, and a Zap can start a Murage task through a local webhook (senders in the cloud need a tunnel to reach your computer).

Questions about Murage and Jira.

Can Murage connect to Jira?+

Yes. Sign in to Jira once inside Murage, through Flux Router credits or your own connected-apps key, and your bots can search issues and read comments and worklogs.

Will it change or send anything in Jira without asking?+

Not while it’s on Ask, where every new bot starts: it checks with you before it acts in Jira. On Auto or Full access, replies in an existing conversation and routine edits go ahead, but a bot still stops before messaging anyone new, posting publicly, paying, or deleting outside its folder, unless you have allowed it for that task. Only No limits turns that off. On Hermes and other ACP engines, Ask and the stop line cover only what the engine asks Murage about, and Hermes doesn’t ask before connected-app tools.

How is this different from Rovo?+

Rovo helps inside Jira. Murage gives you a team that works across Jira and your other apps, keeps notes on your business, and runs on the AI you already pay for.

What does it cost?+

The Murage app is free. Jira connects through Flux Router credits, or your own connected-apps key if you have one. Your AI provider bills you as usual.
