How it works.

Step 1Add your Box keyCreate an account at ascii.dev and paste its Box API key in App Settings.
Step 2Choose Cloud for a botIn the bot’s Computer panel. Murage creates that bot’s desktop the first time.
Step 3Let it work, or take overThe bot works in its own desktop. Join it to watch or drive.

The cloud desktop is Linux
The bot and its schedule still run from your computer, so Murage must be open. This is not Murage Cloud
Trial desktops stop automatically after about two hours

Can an AI agent have its own computer?

Yes. In Murage, a bot can use a private cloud Linux desktop from Box, your own VPS, or a local VM on your machine.

Is the Box cloud desktop free?

No. Box is a paid third-party service after its trial, on your own account. A local VM or your own server costs nothing extra from Murage.

Does a cloud computer keep my bots running when my laptop is closed?

No. The desktop is remote, but the bots and their schedules run from Murage on your computer. Murage Cloud, for running with your computer off, isn’t open yet.
