Murage 1.0.8 is out for Mac, Windows and Linux. It brings smoother Full access on Windows, a cleaner Stop, and more protection for your computer and your secrets.
Smoother Full access
You chose Full access or No limits because you want the work done. On Windows, everyday commands now keep flowing even when Murage's check of your computer's setup is slow or doesn't finish.
Raise your default and Murage offers to apply it to your open conversations too, with a count of how many it will change. And No limits in a project room stays on after Murage restarts.
Also in 1.0.8
- Stop that lands cleanly. On Linux, Stop now gives sandboxed engines a moment to finish up and tidy away their work, so the next turn picks up right where you left off.
- Backups you can count on. If Murage can't save its backup state, it tells you exactly what to check (disk space and permissions), and Return to workspace takes you straight back once it's sorted.
- Your computer stays yours. On Windows, macOS and Linux x64, engines Murage wraps cannot shut down or restart your computer.
- Your secrets stay hidden. Keys, tokens and private key blocks are masked in the error messages Murage shows you.
- The built-in browser is on for everyone, and on Mac, Teach a skill is ready to use from the start.
And more
- Approvals a helper bot asks for now reach you, and its work carries on once you answer.
- When a reply can't finish, or ends with nothing to show, Murage tells you why in one plain line.
- The sidebar has a single update control: one spinner while a new version downloads, and a tap opens the update details.
- On Ubuntu 22.04 and Debian 12, deleting a chat now also clears the copy Fuigo keeps on that computer, in under a second.
How to update
If you already have Murage, the app shows an update banner when 1.0.8 is ready. You can also choose Check for updates in Settings. Downloading and installing are always your choice.
